About Matt

Matt Rice is a unique blend of youth/campus minister, and IT geek. He maintains his technical expertise through many freelance projects, while remaining faithful to his call to serve youth and young adults.

Matt is currently serving as the middle school youth and campus minister at St. Joseph Catholic School in Bryan, TX. When he isn't doing that he's at home taking care of his daughter and working on freelance web-app projects.

Matt has been married to Weslei for 10 years and they have three wonderful children, Levi (7),  Asher(5) and Trinity(1). The family has been back in Texas for a few years now, enjoying the hot Texas summers, and winters!

Matt has a deep commitment to youth and young adult ministry. He believes, as Cardinal Bernardin did, that youth are "a part of the church here and now", and they have a contribution to make. Matt has dedicated much of his, admittedly young, life to walking with youth and young adults as they make their much needed contributions.
